Nope just now started to see it pop up, but they say'n its not the following up to the previous event's. For 2nd season which kinda sucks tho, cause I want to know what's down with the current Ah Xiu, not his younger self.

This is the prequel of what happened before the events of ep 1 of the original show.

The MC is the younger version of himself and it's depicting past events that were only briefly mentioned in the original show.

O from just going off the episode, I thought it might have been 2nd season, but knowing that now from you it, it does feel kinda disappointing cause I so badly want it to pick up on what's happening with Ah Xiu. However I do get they gotta dump some expo events to what's lead'n up to where the original left off.

im not exactly sure what's happening.. the description says its an alternate version of some events.. idk if this is really season 2. They keep teasing us with all these side stories when everybody really wants to see Ah Xiu again.. Also i feel like in the end Ah Xiu will kill Dilin.. that guy is too ruthless
